I Might As Well Break It

I have nothing to do. And at the same time I have everything to do. All my ideas are in place for my finals I just have to finish them all! Its hard when the weather is nice because there are so many more things to do and I keep getting distracted. (Not by facebook like everyone else I might add, my laptop has a virus anyway. Now I understand why everyone hates PC so much.) At the moment I'm really enjoying this blog because it gives me something to do while I work at a desk 3 times a week. I also like it because I can keep all the things I get inspired by in one place. I want a big database of art + photographs for the summer because I want to have lots of ideas for summer projects. Hopefully Ill take alot more photos than I did during the school year, but it may not happen with curating an art exhibition, working, moving, and taking an extra course at George Brown. Plus alllll the summer shows:). I need to make the time though because I want some more images for my portfolio that are really centered around my own interest, because school stifles creativity. For real.

I'm not sure how this photographer made his way onto my Facebook friends list, but I really like his fashion images.

Call it Karma

I'v been unlucky and lucky enough at the same time to just chill at home and do nothing with my weekend, so I watched one of my favourite movies and for some reason it re-inspired and motivated me. The movie was Lords of Dogtown and if you havent already seen it, you need to. To me, its pretty much perfect. Everyone is so well cast and youll be captivated by it even if your not into skateboarding. Even if your not, you still feel the nostalgia and passion in it. SO GOOD. And also you should watch "Dogtown and Z-Boys" which is the actual documentary about the Zephyr Skate Team and the skateboarding revolution in the 70s. Just another example of why I wish I was a teenager in the 70s.

That is all.

Do you ever put so much effort into something just to have it go nowhere?

I really admire people who "chase their dreams" because it is a bitch. I can never give up on things I want, even though thats probably the best thing sometimes. Something about this time of year makes everyone really not...dependable. I usually like to do things myself so that I'm happy with the outcome, but I can't do everything myself. All I can do is my best right? I should be in a better mood because the weathers nicer and its Canadian Music week but...I want to punch my program in the face.

On that note. Heres some art by one of my favourite artists Chris Brett. His paintings are just really fun and different. I have a couple of them at home but need more.

Cold Case Files is the best show.

I really should be doing homework.
If I can ever stop watching A&E or "Predators getting owned by Dateline" on youtube I'll finish my other essay. If.

I just got back from the specialist who was attempted to find out whats wrong with my knee, and since he can find nothing, out of frustration Im going to waste time with tv and pizza. bah.

Cold Case reminds me of this book I just read about a serial killer from the 50's called "The Killer Inside Me", and it was pretty decent but was apparently made into a terrible movie thats not released yet starring Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson. Huh. Yeah its probably not good.

Speaking of serial killers, I have a sick photo series of serial killers that I want to post sooon, but for now heres some photos Steven Meisel shot called Supermodels Enter Rehab. Looove these.
