I'm pretty excited for all of the summer music festivals and shows but apparently its also the season for a BUNCH OF MY FAVOURITE BANDS TO BREAK UP. Hate my life. One of the my favourites the Dangerous Summer from Maryland will be in Toronto in August though and that's awesome. Last time they were here a couple of years ago, all the bands on that tour were just so stoked to be in the city Degrassi is filmed. Apparently its a bigger deal in the states? Interesting. Today I'm going to post Joshua Petker.
So far the summer isn't quiiiite what I hoped it would be, I pictured myself working a lot more and being even busier(work wise of course, social wise I'm speding too much money!). As much as I love the weather and the opportunity to be at home for a while, I kind of miss the responsibility of school. I only say this because I imagine next year will be better than last and for the first time im really exited about a few of my university classes. I'm going to try to feel more motivated to draw/paint/photograph/write more! Speaking of creating art: Hanna Viktorsson
You were standing in the kitchen, you were covered in cherry pie.
I need to learn to use twitter for my new job. Crazyyy. I'v never used it before and I don't wanna. I will avoid learning any new social networking tools by uploading more art. Its Miss Van today:
Today I found out my bullshitting skills are far superior than even I assumed. I always knew they were good, but not good enough to convince a school to accept me into a course I don't have any of the pre-requisites for. I'm pretty stoked on taking a music business course at George Brown. Now I can learn more in school and at the same time keep working on concerts. It does suck I'm doing college in the summer and back to university in the fall but it'll be worth it to me. Taking a course in the summer is a small price to pay for doing something productive in the next few months.
In light of my good day, I'm going to post one of my all time favourite artists, Camille Rose Garcia:
This blog is mostly just for me to post art/photos/music I like. Mostly art though. And sometimes pessimistic ramblings.
My interests include,
Beer, Coffee and Music.
But also buying magazines, vintage shopping, photography, buying more art than I have room for, going to more shows than I have money for, renting movies, etc.
